Prateek Shroff is a highly motivated and skilled Software Development Engineer with a focus on Machine Learning and Software Engineering. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, College Station, with a concentration in Machine Learning. Prateek has a strong professional software experience of two years in Oracle, where he worked on various projects. He also gained extensive knowledge and experience during his ML internship at Cadence. Prateek is passionate about taking on challenges and applying machine learning to solve real-world problems. He has a keen interest in research and has worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the National Institute of Technology, where he worked on a project called 'FPGA Based Integration of SD Card and Touchscreen Controllers.' He implemented a digital design written in Verilog to establish a communication channel between the controllers of SD card and Touch Screen via the FPGA's processor unit. The end result was the display of contents of SD card on the touch screen with the additional option to edit or delete the contents. Prateek has also worked as a Summer Intern at Reliance, where he designed and programmed a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic to facilitate the connection of Digital Voltage Regulator to Steam Generator. Currently, he is volunteering for an ARM workshop at the National Institute of Technology, where he is a part of a five-member team that took a workshop on ARM controllers as a part of workshop events in CURRENTS, symposium of EEE department of NIT Trichy. Prateek has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. He is proficient in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Integration, Python, Neural Networks, and is a Research Scientist. With 5.02 years of relevant experience, Prateek is a highly skilled and motivated individual who is always looking for new challenges to tackle.
