Prateek Verma is an experienced Graphics software engineer currently working at Intel Corporation. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has worked with some of the leading companies in the tech industry. Prateek started his career as a Software Developer at FireEye, where he developed endpoint software with the ability to protect endpoints from advanced and real-time threats. He then moved on to Samsung as a Senior Software Engineer, where he worked in the driver development team for NVMe-based SSDs on the Windows platform. He developed a good understanding of the Windows storage stack and implemented new features in the driver to make it much more optimized than before. Prateek also proposed and implemented a solution for software RAID for Samsung SSDs, achieving a 2X performance boost with the proposed solution. He was awarded Employee of the Month in April 2015 in the memory division of Samsung. Prateek holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from HBTI, where he completed his education in 2014.
