Prateek Xaxa is an experienced Software Development Engineer with a passion for tackling technically challenging opportunities. He has a strong foundation in computing fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, OS, and DBMS. Prateek has experience in C++, C#/CLI, Python, and AngularJS, and has worked on a range of projects, from refactoring monolithic code bases to designing solutions for data crunching and visualization. He has also worked on image and video processing pipelines, using an asynchronous robust publisher-subscriber model with natural language interface. Prateek is an active contributor to the open-source community and has several projects on GitHub. He welcomes feedback on his coding styles, testability, maintainability, and scalability. He has also written technical articles, including one on unsupervised face clustering pipeline that made it to the top 15 articles on Technical Scripter 2018 organized by GeeksforGeeks. Prateek holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), where he gained a strong foundation in computer science. He has also completed a Bachelor of Computer Applications from KIIT University. Currently, Prateek works as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft Azure Cloud, where he is responsible for developing microservices, web, and UI applications. His expertise includes Azure, Python, ML, Infra, AI, OpenCV, Deep Learning, Redis, and AngularJS. Prateek has relevant experience of 4.78 years and has previously worked as a Software Engineer and Intern at KLA, where he provided initial solutions for comparing process data/attributes by crunching XML data.
