Prathamesh P. is a motivated and disciplined software engineer with a strong background in machine learning. He is driven by his innate talents of being a maximizer, learner, focused achiever, and is always looking for ways to solve challenging real-world problems. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer, ML at WeWork, where he has designed, developed, debugged, and tested critical components of the system. He has also designed machine learning functionality into the current web applications and developed a visualization tool using R language and shiny framework to monitor key metrics depicting business insights. Prathamesh is an excellent communicator and keeps his supervisor and colleagues informed of his progress. Before joining WeWork, Prathamesh worked as a Machine Learning Intern at NYU Langone Medical Center and Vidcode. At NYU Langone, he developed a ranking system for all new medicines on critical ethics performance criteria to improve public health using machine learning technology. He also developed an API integration for the FDA database, clinicaltrials.gov, and PubMed. At Vidcode, he worked on a user behavior tracking system by using technologies like Python, MongoDB, R, and Shiny as a volunteer programmer. He crawled user data and visualized that data to keep track of the growth of the website. He also developed and deployed web apps on the cloud to view the visualization from any system. Prathamesh holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Lokamanya Tilak College of Engineering. He has a strong tech stack that includes ML, software engineering, web development, research science, integration, Python, and MongoDB.
