Prathamesh Upadhyay is a highly motivated and skilled software engineer with a passion for systems, including OS, networks, architecture, compilers, and database. He is currently a Member of Technical Staff - 2 at Nutanix, where he is part of the Storage - Core Data Path (CDP) team. Prathamesh has a Master of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, where he also worked as a Teaching Assistant for courses such as Graduate Systems, Compilers, and Python. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. With almost three years of relevant experience, Prathamesh has honed his skills in software engineering, Docker, NodeJS, and Java. He previously interned at Nutanix, where he won the NTNX-Intern-Hackathon in 2019 for his work on a hardware compatibility application for the platform. His other responsibilities included developing a hardware abstraction layer, architectural design, and working with technologies such as GraphQL, PostgresDB, Object-Storage, OAuth2, SSL, Py, Java, and Bash. In addition to his work at Nutanix, Prathamesh is also interested in research and has published a paper on "Performance Analysis of Virtual Machine Migration in Cloud Computing". He is a quick learner, a team player, and has excellent communication skills. Prathamesh is always looking for new opportunities to expand his knowledge and skills in the field of systems and software engineering.
