Prathap Bhukya is a seasoned engineering leader with over 13 years of experience in managing cross-functional and diversified Agile Scrum teams, and overseeing the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from project initiation to end delivery. He has a strong background in Java/J2EE web-based applications, including Spring, Spring Boot, and Restful web services, and has extensive experience in building ETL pipelines for EDW/DataLakes. Prathap is well-versed in Microservices, Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, MapR, as well as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Angular 2, Elastic Search, Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL. He has worked in the Payments/Fin-tech domain and Logistics & Supply Chain domains, and is highly skilled in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Prathap is a natural mentor and coach, and has a proven track record of building teams and products from scratch. He has a talent for hiring and talent management, and is experienced in CI/CD and frequent delivery. Currently, he serves as the Associate Director of Technology at Arcesium, where he oversees the development of cutting-edge technology solutions. Prior to joining Arcesium, Prathap served as an Engineering Manager at Arcesium, and as a Senior Engineering Manager at Delhivery. He earned his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and also holds a degree from Gowtham College.
