Pratheek Hegde is a self-taught Software Engineer with over 5 years of professional work experience in building frontend facing software on the Web Platform. He has a diverse range of interests, including Science, History, Music, Art, Branding, Anthropology, Psychology, and Economics. Pratheek has settled on to Frontend development as he finds himself playing with Javascript & React most of the time. He has tinkered across the Web stack (Backend, Infrastructure, Frontend) and Mobile (Flutter & React Native). Pratheek is currently working as a Software Engineer at Coinbase, where he is well acquainted with Javascript, TypeScript, GraphQL, React, React Native, Node.js, AWS, NGINX, Linux & Docker. He likes experimenting and evaluating old/new technologies, methodologies, and practices to help him set up architecture or a model/process for building something that is simple, scalable, future-proof, and can be easily absorbed by a team. Pratheek has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MakeMyTrip, where he contributed to the frontend development of Grounds SEO charter, which included Bus, Rails & Cabs line of businesses. He has also worked extensively on React Native Web SSR to improve performance and conversions apart from regular features and continuous product development. Pratheek has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology. He also holds a Pre-University Degree in Computer Science from Bhandarkars' Arts & Science College and completed his Middle School and High School education from Little Rock Indian School.
