Prathik Kaliyambath is a software engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in building scalable backend solutions using a variety of technologies across the stack. He is an expert in working with Microservice and Serverless architectures, and is known for building lightweight and effective solutions using modern technologies. Prathik is proficient in several programming languages including Python, NodeJs, Java, and Golang. He is currently working as an SDE III at Captain Fresh, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's backend systems. Prior to his current position, Prathik has worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at Goldcast, and as an SDE III at Livspace. During his time at Livspace, he was part of the Core-Infra team, where he built central services and various CI/CD pipelines for easier deployment of services. He also built a Hierarchical RBAC service which helped manage roles across the organization efficiently, and integrated an open source OAuth2.0 solution with the existing authorization system. Prathik also improved the existing Notification management system to a complete Multiplexer model, supporting various channels with multiple providers. He integrated various other open source solutions to the existing stack, solving various existing problems while improving maintainability and quality. Prathik holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and completed his schooling from B.V.M Eroor. He is proficient in several technologies including Software Engineering, Backend, Microservices, NodeJS, Python, Golang, Java, CI/CD, and infra.
