Prathik Somanath is a skilled software engineer with a passion for problem-solving and writing code. He has gained extensive experience in the Research and innovation Lab (RAIL) setup in his college, where he had the opportunity to explore and experiment with various equipment such as gyroscope and raspberry pi. Prathik's current focus is on developing mobile web apps using React-Native, and he has a strong interest in creating innovative solutions to complex problems. Prathik's passion for creating solutions was further fueled when he participated in the first National Level Hackathon, where he and his team built a Road Profiler Car using ToF sensor, accelerometer, GPS sensor, and camera. He was also introduced to web development by building a QR-based Inventory and Attendance system for the RAIL lab. With skills in JavaScript, NodeJS, React, GraphQL, Python, C, C++, MongoDB, and Postgres, Prathik has a broad range of technical expertise. He is currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at gradspace, where he has created an Android app in React-Native and integrated multiple React Native modules such as react-navigation and react-native-firebase. Prathik has also utilized React Hooks and the Context API to handle global state management and set up authentication and analytics in firebase to get insights into how the app is performing and how users interact with it. Additionally, he has worked on push notifications in the back-end and explored chatting APIs such as GetStream and PubNub. Prathik holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from government s. k. s. j. t. institute (sksjti), which he completed in 2021. He also attended Vidyaniketan Public School in India from 2005 to 2017. With relevant experience of 1.78 years, Prathik is a highly motivated and skilled software engineer who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. His technical expertise, passion for problem-solving, and dedication to creating innovative solutions make him an asset to any team or organization.
