Pratibha Rawat is an empathetic Engineering Manager at AWS EC2 who is passionate about machine learning, iOS and Android development. With almost a decade of relevant experience, Pratibha has a proven track record of contributing to successful apps such as the Amazon iOS Shopping App and the Amazon Alexa Smart Home feature. Currently, Pratibha works as a Software Development Manager at Amazon, where she is responsible for scaling EC2 regions. In her previous role as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, Pratibha worked on multiple initiatives, including a new project for Amazon physical stores and the development of the Amazon Mobile Shopping app. In this role, she created a platform for partner developers to launch features on the app without having to learn native development using Objective C and React Native. She also worked extensively on the Smart Home feature for the Alexa app using React Native. Prior to joining Amazon, Pratibha worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where she worked with the Accounting Office of ECE department. Pratibha holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (University of Mumbai). Pratibha's tech stack includes AWS, software engineering, iOS, senior software engineering, Android, mobile, ML, test, React Native, Objective-c, integration, and web. Pratibha believes that empathy is her superpower and is always looking for ways to make a positive impact on the people around her.
