Pratik Arya is a Consultant at Capgemini with a passion for app development. With almost 7 years of experience, he has primarily worked with the .Net Ecosystem, focusing on Xamarin Native platforms (Xamarin.Android and Xamarin.iOS) and REST API development using ASP .NET. In the latter half of his career, he expanded his skill-set to Xamarin.Forms as well. Pratik has been associated with many freelance projects, including an iOS app "Wonk" that helps you find tutors nearby. Pratik has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Manipal University, which he completed in 2016. He has worked with several companies in the past, including L&T and Cynapto, where he held roles such as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. At Cynapto, Pratik worked on several noteworthy projects, including the Shree Siddhivinayak App, which allows devotees to have personalized "Ganesh Pooja" via 1 on 1 video calls with the temple and book appointments for personal darshan at the temple. He was responsible for the R&D of various available WebRTC frameworks and analyzing their integration with Xamarin, as well as the implementation of 1 on 1 video call using Twilio on both Android and iOS. Pratik's interests include playing badminton, following cricket, and baking cakes. He also helps his parents run their bakery.
