Pratik E. is a seasoned software engineer with a growth mindset and a passion for designing and bringing multidisciplinary systems to life. With almost 10 years of relevant experience, Pratik has a proven track record of analyzing, designing, developing, enhancing, and fixing systems using C++, Python, and Java with LOC ranging from 10k to millions of lines. Pratik's specialties include a wide range of programming languages such as C++ (11, 14, 17), Golang, STL, Corba/DDX RTI (Linux & Windows apps), Kafka, Redis, Clickhouse Db, Oracle SQL, and MongoDB. He has worked in various sectors such as investment banking, data analysis and visualization, and image processing. Pratik's previous assignments involved architecting and leading the development of various systems, including a data ETL platform with millions of messages per day processing capability, a data visualization standalone desktop app, and an electro-mechanical closed-loop inspection robot. He has also coded middleware backend interfaces and services, reverse-engineered and migrated interfaces to support new platforms, and worked on image processing projects. Pratik's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering from Shivaji University and a high school education from Vita High School, Vita. Currently, Pratik is the Founder Institute Cohort 2022 at Founder Institute South Asia. He has previously worked as a Senior Engineer and Lead Engineer at Credit Suisse, where he led the development of various projects and provided L3/QAT/Go-Live support for stream changes. He has also worked as an SDE at o4s, where he built a data ETL platform with millions of events per day processing capability.
