Pratik is currently the founder and CEO of The Yarn Bazaar, a startup that is building a holistic B2B Yarn Marketplace with the vision of organizing an unorganized textile industry. The Yarn Bazaar has been featured on Shark Tank India Season 1 and has raised 1 crore from prominent investors such as Peyush Bansal (LensKart), Ashneer Grover (BharatPe), Aman Gupta (Boat), and Anupam Mittal (People Group). Pratik is passionate about his work and is committed to bringing about positive change in the textile industry. Pratik has a Masters degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Management Studies from L.S Raheja College of Arts & Commerce. He has also been a guest lecturer at his alma mater and has represented the University of Warwick in The Apprentice style inter-university competition in the UK sponsored by EY. In addition to his work at The Yarn Bazaar, Pratik has also been the rhythm guitarist for a Metallica cover band in Mumbai and was the Editor-in-Chief of The Yarn Bazaar Publication, a one-stop solution for all textile-related information. He has previously worked as an Executive Director in his family's business, which is involved in the manufacturing and distribution of shirting and suiting fabrics.
