Pratik Kataria is a Full Stack Developer at Credit Suisse with a strong background in Frontend development. He is a polyglot experienced in React, React Native, Python, Java, and Angular. Currently, he is working on React projects primarily dealing with CSS-in-JS and TypeScript. Pratik has hands-on experience in Java (Core, Springboot & Multi-threading), Python, React & React Native, Angular 6/7, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 & CSS3, Wordpress, SQL/PostgreSql, and Ionic 4. He is passionate about creating videos and apps and has a YouTube channel and apps on Google Play Store. Pratik is a hard-working individual who gives his 100% to everything he does. He believes that lack of resources, opportunities, and potential peers have hindered his progress of geekdom, but also enabled him to keep realistic, one lifetime doable goals. He strives to exceed his potential and readily accepts new experiences that bring in new knowledge. Pratik always likes to be more versatile than specialized. Currently, Pratik is working as the lead Frontend on a React (v17+) project that applies TDD. React Testing Library, AG-Grid, Styled Components, ky, and react-query are few of the major libraries used. In the past, he has worked as a Software Engineer, Research and Digital Presence at CLSA, where he worked on Front End for 2 projects using React, added functionality using Java EE and Angular, created a python script, and worked on a Java Spring boot project that performs ETL from SQL to Postgres. Pratik has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from MIT College of Engineering. He also holds a degree in Information Technology from Fergusson College and completed his schooling from St. Mary's High School.
