Pratyayan Sarkar is a dynamic individual with a passion for innovation and a drive to turn his ideas into successful business models. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree from Indian Institute of Management, Shillong with a graduation year of 2024. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University, where he gained valuable experience and knowledge in his field. Pratyayan is an Office Bearer at IT Committee in IIM Shillong, where he acts as a vital interface between participants facing IT-related issues and the IT administration of the institute. He takes care of the hardware and software requirements of the participants by installing licensed versions of software required for academic purposes and providing necessary equipment for connectivity purposes. He also provides IT-related support to other clubs and committees, maintaining a central sharing server to help participants share resources among themselves. In his past experiences, Pratyayan has worked as a Live Project Intern in Marketing & Sales at Mozo Hunt Pvt Ltd, where he researched consumer behavior, provided input on customer briefs, and promoted the product by increasing the company's visibility through social media channels. He also worked as a Live Project Intern in Marketing & Sales and Data Analytics at Open Wings Foundation, where he gained practical exposure by applying the sales funnel strategy, STP strategy to generate and convert leads, and analyzed and visualized data using visualization tools to draw meaningful inferences. Pratyayan is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt professional and a Xiaomi Mi Summit 4.0 Campus Winner. He is a critical thinker and problem-solver who enjoys challenging the status quo and thinking outside the box. With his diverse experiences and skills, Pratyayan is poised to make a significant impact in the business world.
