Currently, Praveen is a Group Engineering Manager at Adobe, leading the migration to ACP cloud to achieve multi-geo availability and high performance while retaining key experiences and unlocking innovation and premium value on collaboration in Acrobat. He engineered and led the development of faster, more performant 64-bit Acrobat. In the past, Praveen has worked at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, where his key experiences focused on building from the ground up, managing and mentoring teams, finalizing investment pillars and roadmap strategy, feature specifications, service and product design, user experience, resourcing and prioritization, planning and executing large-scale projects, and translating to highly available engineering eco-system. He also advised and built business continuity and disaster recovery strategy for Office 365 engineering systems with RTO < 1 hour and RPO < 5 Mins. At Pitney Bowes, Praveen worked as a Technical Manager, where he mentored a team of 15+ and was involved in product development and innovation in the GIS world, mainly with raster data and geospatial solutions in MapInfo. Praveen holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from MNNIT. His tech stack includes senior software engineer, software engineer, product designer, and research scientist.
