Prawal Agarwal is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he is a member of the Azure Cloud Infrastructure team. With almost a decade of experience in the field, Prawal has worked on a range of projects, from designing UI tools to building high-scale distributed automation platforms. As part of his work on the Azure Devops and Azure Application Platform teams, Prawal has enabled deployment scenarios on Azure and written connectors for attaching Azure workflows to external services like service bus, Twitter, Facebook, and Twilio. He has extensive experience in writing and maintaining REST APIs and has worked with diverse technologies. Prawal's current focus is on building high-scale and reliable deployment services used by Ring 0 Azure services like SQL, XStore, and Skype. In his previous roles at Microsoft, Prawal worked on the broader areas of Application Lifecycle Management and DevOps. As part of the test management and distributed test automation team, he was responsible for enabling a platform for Visual Studio Cloud customers to test their code in the most efficient way before it is pushed to production. Prawal has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science and a Master of Science (MS) in Economics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
