Preet Khaturia is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the information technology and services industry. He is currently working as a Data Scientist at DeepIQ, where he is responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models to solve complex business problems. Preet is highly skilled in Python programming language, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Matlab. He holds a Master of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Signal Processing from Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. Prior to his current role, Preet has worked with companies like 3loq and amnex, where he has worked on various projects related to machine learning. At amnex, he developed a plugin in QGIS for boundary delineation in Agricultural fields through satellite imagery. He has also worked on road damage detection for Highway surveillance using image segmentation (FCNs) and detection techniques. Preet has even participated in MoveHack 2018, organized by NITI Aayog, where he provided a solution based on the state-of-the-art deep learning algorithm namely, Mask RCNN to detect anomalies present on Indian roads. Preet has a diverse educational background, including a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur, and a Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity. Preet's technical expertise includes Data Science, Research Science, ML, Mobile, Deep Learning, Python, Software Engineering, Integration, and Image Segmentation.
