Preet Prasannan is a highly accomplished Technology Leader, Mentor, and Dreamer with proven expertise in architecting and developing HA and scalable products. He is an expert in distributed, real-time, and cloud computing, with proficiency in multiple application programming/scripting languages and databases. With a strong background in infrastructure design, development, and management, Preet has built and trained world-class teams from the ground up, managing and mentoring distributed cross-site teams. Preet is an open-source contributor and advocate, with domain expertise in Augmented Reality and Payments. He believes in product strategy amalgamating in technology implementation and despises over-engineering, preferring simplistic implementation of problem solutions. Currently serving as Technology Advisor at Goldstar Education, Preet has held key leadership roles at Blippar, where he kick-started the Bangalore office, built a world-class team from scratch, and managed the core platform for AR. Preet's experience includes product development, design, and support, as well as building a suite of products and managing infrastructure (AWS) and security for the entire suite of applications. He has also developed and managed custom enterprise AR solutions. Preet holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan, where he graduated in 2018. He also attended the Ahmedabad International School from 2009 to 2014.
