Preeta Lakshmi is an accomplished Automotive Software Engineer and Test Manager with over 5 years of experience in the field. She has a strong background in Autosar BSW components, complete software integration, variant handling, and human-machine interface, among others. Preeta is an expert in problem-solving and defect management, with deep and wide technical expertise. She is also a SW Project Management enthusiast with experience in project planning, estimation, tracking, and reporting. Preeta has accomplished several milestones in her career, including three successful visits to China for direct communication with OEMs for Join Testing and Requirement clarification. She is a process expert who ensures the process compliance of projects according to internal as well as ASPICE standards. Preeta is also a member of the review pool, performing requirement, code, and test specification reviews to ensure high-quality output complying with coding standards (MISRA). Preeta has mentored and nurtured new joiners into independent BSW responsibles and has managed the competence improvement of a team of 80+ associates according to business needs. She is currently interested in learning about cybersecurity, basics functional safety (ISO26262) and FMEA, and project management concepts. Preeta's technical skills include protocols such as CAN and CAN-FD, UDS, tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, DOORS, JIRA, ALM, HP Quality Center, ClearQuest, and scripting languages such as CAPL and PERL. She is also experienced in software and system testing using HiL/SiL, including setup and debugging of HiL systems. Preeta is currently working as a Test Manager at Bosch and has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at the same company. She has performed technical and schedule feasibility studies of complex customer projects, managed high-risk projects, and ensured ASPICE compliance of projects in Integration and Unit Tests areas. Preeta has also moderated 5Why Analysis for a defect and successfully derived the root causes and corrective, preventive measures.
