Prem Chaitanya Prathi is a Lead Software Architect at PowerLoom Protocol, where he is responsible for building the architecture of the protocol and ensuring the team is aligned with the goals. With 16.79 years of relevant experience, Prem is an intrinsic problem solver who enjoys designing optimal solutions and building products from scratch. He has a keen sense of professional ethics and is a good team player. In his current role, Prem interacts regularly with founders to gather requirements and arrives at solutions for various complex distributed system problems. He also researches, learns, and understands various protocols and technologies in Web3/blockchain space and applies them. His day-to-day work involves identifying, prioritizing, planning, and executing activities, as well as performing design and code reviews. Prior to PowerLoom Protocol, Prem worked as a Senior Architect at Telaverge Communications, where he led the architecture and oversaw implementation of a telecom online charging system (4G/5G) for a cloud-native microservices (Kubernetes) environment using Golang/C++/REST/Couchbase. He also co-led the design and implementation of cluster management (RAFT based) and an in-memory distributed cache where line speed replication was achieved using C and TIPC protocol. Prem has a B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology. He has a wide gamut of technologies providing him with a good technological breadth and ability to lead project execution. He has translated product requirements into architecture and acted as a bridge between product management and R&D teams, helping facilitate brainstorming and refining of product requirements. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Web3, Blockchain, product manager, Research Scientist, Golang, Kubernetes, Microservices, MongoDB, and Web.
