Prerak Gupta is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer currently working at Huawei, where he has developed an end-to-end production module for the semantic understanding of tabular data in the niche domain of CyberSecurity. He has also developed a methodology to generate syntactically and semantically rich table vector representations and utilized table embeddings to perform multi-label classification to find tables of interest containing relevant indicators of compromise. Prior to his current role, Prerak worked as an Applied Research Intern at Convaise, where he researched in the domain of Conversational AI and developed an end-to-end contextual chatbot by parsing text/PDF files on the web with a focus on digitalizing bureaucratic processes. He also processed and indexed text/PDF documents into structured KB representations via modern information retrieval methods and built and modeled the context (profile) of the end-user into the system to improve the accuracy and relevance of search results using state-of-the-art NLU models. Prerak has also worked as a Data Engineer at Cobrainer, where he developed an in-house tool for creating a distributed database of ground truth annotations for measuring performance and experimentation. He also implemented an evaluation CI pipeline to do critical analysis and reporting based on curated business and growth metrics. Prerak holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Master of Science in Data Engineering from the Technical University Munich, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. He also holds an ICSE degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Seth M. R. Jaipuria, Lucknow.
