Prerit Jain is an experienced Software Test Developer professional with over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. He is currently working as a Software Engineer (QA) III at Glovo, where he specializes in SDET. Prerit is skilled in a variety of programming languages including Java, JavaScript, and Python. He is also proficient in various testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, and JMeter. Prerit has a strong background in Agile methodology in SCRUM and has a thorough understanding of SDLC/STLC. He has expertise in performing different types of Black Box Testing, including Smoke, Functional, System and System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End to End Testing. Prerit has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science Engineering from RTU and completed his HSC from Javahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya. He has worked at several companies throughout his career, including BNY Mellon and MSCI, where he held the positions of VP Test Automation and Associate Java Developer, respectively. In addition to his technical skills, Prerit has experience analyzing business requirements, designing automation frameworks, and developing them from scratch using Page Object Model & Page Factory, Hybrid, or Data-driven Testing Framework. He is also proficient in various tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally, and IBM Clear Quest.
