His expertise lies in MES (Manufacturing Execution System), where he has worked on multiple projects for leading companies in the automotive and tyre industries. Currently, Prince John is working as a Software Engineer (MES) at Quadruple Automation Services Private Limited. His current project involves developing a Manufacturing Execution System for a leading tyre industry in Hyderabad. The system aids the customer in Planning, Material Tracking, Error Proofing, BOM management, Resource Allocation, Production Booking, and Scrap Handling. It is capable of interfacing with third party PLCs and with other SPC systems for getting machine data. It also has built-in Automated Storage and Retrieval System. In his previous projects, Prince John has worked on IT Management Services (Bug Tracking System) at Rockwell Automation, Chennai, and Digital Pick System (DPS) at Leading Automotive Industry, Chennai. In both projects, he used FTPC (Factory Talk Production Centre) using Java, pnuts java scripting, and MS SQL Server 2005 as a backend in MES. The Bug Tracking System helps in raising tickets for any faults or bugs in the application, and the Digital Pick System guides the kitting operator to pick the right part as per the sequence of the main assembly line in manufacturing a vehicle. Prince John started his career as a Junior Software Engineer (MES) at Quadruple Business Services, where he worked on redesigning and implementing the Digital Pick System at a leading automotive industry in South Africa. Prince John holds a Master's degree in Computer Application from Sun College of Engineering and Technology (Anna University).
