Pritha Chanda is a competent and detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in lean manufacturing, quality and launch management, and ensuring IATF compliance. She has a broad technical background, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers. Pritha is a Master's Graduate in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech with a specialization in Manufacturing Systems and completed her undergraduation in Instrumentation and Control from College of Engineering Pune, India. Currently employed with Apple as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Pritha has spent almost 3 years at BorgWarner Transmission Systems, Seneca, SC, where she started her career as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer and then took the opportunity to explore the Supply Chain side of the industry as a Supplier Quality Management Engineer. Some of the tasks she has taken up include working with GSM and engineering team for resource activities, reporting monthly KPIs, performing internal quality and EHS audit, supplier process assessment audits, supplier conflict resolution, and manufacturing process improvement across the chain, and risk mitigation. Pritha is dedicated, diligent, and has contributed towards building BorgWarner Seneca back after it was struck by a Tornado in 2020. Pritha gained industrial experience while working with Canon Virginia Inc, Newport News, Virginia, a fortune 500 company as an Industrial Engineer Intern in the Production Innovation Department. She has also interned in a leading oil and gas company named Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) located in Mumbai, India. Pritha is willing to relocate and learn new things. She is open-minded, punctual, optimistic, goal-oriented, and a quick learner. She can very well adjust to a new environment. Her tech stack includes QA, Senior Software Engineer, and Test.
