Priy Ranjan is a driven and passionate entrepreneur focused on building innovative solutions for the e-commerce industry. With 4.52 years of relevant experience, he has worked in various roles in the consumer goods, management consulting, and venture capital sectors. Priy's journey started with his mechanical engineering degree from IIT Madras, where he explored multiple research areas around vehicle dynamics and manufacturing technology. After a successful internship at Unilever, he developed a fascination for business and FMCG. This led him to join McKinsey and Company, where he worked with experienced professionals from different industries and advised them on their business strategies. However, Priy's true passion for technology and entrepreneurship inspired him to join Elevation Capital's investment team, where he focused on D2C brands and saw their growth journeys closely during the COVID period. After speaking with several customers about their pain points, he founded Shopflo in December 2021, a checkout SaaS platform for D2C brands that aims to create a delightful and zero mental load checkout experience. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Shopflo, Priy is working closely with some of the top D2C brands in India to solve multiple problems in checkout. He envisions Shopflo to be the checkout layer in the global headless commerce stack. Priy is backed by marquee global VCs, top founders from the Indian startup ecosystem, and his customers as angel investors. Priy's educational background in mechanical engineering and product design, coupled with his experience in research and AI, gives him a unique perspective on building innovative solutions for the e-commerce industry. He is currently looking to hire product, engineering, design, and support roles for Shopflo.
