Priya Mehrotra is a highly skilled software engineer with over three years of relevant experience in the field. She holds a Master's degree in Big Data Technology from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology. Priya is currently working as a Data Analyst in the Data Engineering Team at DayToDay Health, a global company with operations in the US, India, and the UK. At DayToDay Health, Priya has been responsible for creating efficient data pipelines in Hevo, a platform that combines data from multiple disparate data sources and applications to a destination data warehouse in real-time. She has also developed effective data models for analysis and reporting purposes and used Python as her programming language to restructure and understand data wherever needed. Priya has worked on Sendbird application to export chat data between the patient and the doctor/caregiver, automated the AWS Lambda Script to export and load required chat data in structured format in AWS S3 bucket to be used by other teams for analysis/reporting. Prior to her current role, Priya worked as a Software Engineer in the Research and Development Team at Popared Limited. She also implemented NLP on bio and post captions to extract hashtags and other relevant information, performed gender detection and category prediction using data analysis tools and NLP, and built a recommendation system to find similar influencers using text similarity metrics. Priya performed face detection using OpenCV and applied Semantic Analysis on post comments and worked on keywords extraction from influencer profiles using tf-idf approach.
