In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxTIET is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

SATURNALIA is the largest Techno-Cultural Fest of North India and a symbol of Pride for Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala and is a perfect blend of Events, Competitions, Workshops, Guest Lectures and Star Night spanning over a period of 4 Months along with 3 major fest days scheduled as 15-17th November, 2019.

Student Alumni Interaction Cell (SAIC) is an institute body run by the students of TIET, under the guidance of Thapar University Alumni Association (TUAA) & Dean of Student Affairs (DoSA), devoted towards the enhancement of relations between the students and alumni community.  SAIC acts as a collaborative and symbiotic linkage between TIET and its Alumni. The organization functions with a vision to develop a dynamic student-alumni community committed to establishing connections and strengthening ties between students and alumni, facilitating TIET’s mission of providing top quality education and opportunities for investing in its future.

The IET is one of the world’s largest engineering institutions with 169,000 members in over 150 countries. The IET is working to engineer a better world by inspiring, informing and influencing our members, engineers and technicians, and all those who are touched by, or touch, the work of engineers.
