Priyam Dalmia is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for research and innovation. He is currently working at Amex as an ML Engineer in the advanced analytics team, where he is responsible for developing explainable ML models to analyze and predict attrition amongst customer care employees. Priyam is also building call models that can analyze call transcripts to improve customer service. Prior to his current role, Priyam worked as a Research Assistant and Research Intern at JNCASR, where he worked on physics-based interpolation methods for LBM fluid solvers. He derived a boundary condition scheme for irregular objects and implemented his research to build an optimized and MPI parallelized fluid simulation software in C++. Priyam also developed 2D and 3D entropic LBM fluid solvers to simulate various flow scenarios like flow over airfoils/cylinders, impulsively started cylinder, lid driven cavity, Taylor-Green vortex, etc. He modeled, implemented, and tested first-order and second-order boundary schemes for irregular objects. Priyam holds a Master of Technology degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in the same field from IIT, Kharagpur. He has a relevant experience of 1.52 years and possesses a strong tech stack that includes ML, Research Scientist, Hyperparameter, and Neural Networks.
