Priyanka Jha is a co-founder and psychotherapist at The Lighthouse, with a keen interest in trauma and resilience, animal-assisted therapy, research, training, and psychological assessments. Her main goal as a counselor is to spread awareness about mental health and focus on the well-being of people using ethical means of practice. Currently, Priyanka works as a trainer at Supertails, a digital pet care platform that offers expert-led healthcare services and products. She has conducted successful online training sessions based on positive reinforcement-based methods for pet parents and facilitated soft skills training for the in-house veterinarian team. Priyanka has also conceptualized and customized training modules for trainers and post-session packages for customers. Additionally, she has coordinated and conducted market research calls related to training pet parents. Prior to her role at Supertails, Priyanka worked as an in-house psychologist at YourDOST, where she provided counseling and crisis intervention for university students and corporate employees. She also handled various maternity programs, proactive calls, and provided brief counseling. Priyanka monitored quality-related work on the platform, developed various content and modules on mental health topics, and conducted webinars for the in-house team as part of the ‘webinar series during Covid 19’. As a co-founder and psychotherapist at The Lighthouse Counsellors, Priyanka provided counseling to adolescents, emerging adults, and adults for mental health concerns. She also created content and managed the social media activities. Priyanka holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Christ University, which she completed in 2020. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Triple Major in Psychology, Sociology, and English from the same university, which she completed in 2018. Priyanka's relevant experience in the field of research spans 3.85 years.
