Prof. (Dr.) Saikat Maity is a highly experienced and accomplished professional with over 22 years of work experience. He is currently associated with Sister Nivedita University as a Professor and is responsible for digital learning through web medium using Myperfectice, Zoom, Cisco Webex, and Audio Visual Head. He is also a Program Director, Student Motivator, Talent Acquisition, Content Developer, Collaborator, Innovator, Researcher, Resource Provider, Project Consultant, Incubator, and FB Influencer. Dr. Maity has a strong educational background with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Howrah. He has also obtained an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Calcutta University and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Kalyani University. His main area of expertise is in software engineering and artificial intelligence, with a focus on networking and multimedia soft computing and image processing technologies. Dr. Maity has worked for various organizations in the past, including TransStadia Education and Research Foundation (TERF) as a Program Director, and JIS University as the Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department. He has also served as Tech Head of maintaining PARAM SHAVAK, a supercomputer from CDAC to work with Onama, CHReME, and Ganglia. He is a board member of the Academic Council at JIS University and has been responsible for AICTE and UGC and NBA accreditation and Brand Ambassador of IIC and Incubation Centre establishment for self-financed Universities. Dr. Maity's managerial forte lies in attracting, hiring, retaining, motivating, and mentoring high-impact teams and hiring the best-in-class talent to build/expand a high-performance team. He has also led teams that work across a diverse set of systems and languages. He is a CCNA professional and a Fellow IE, Senior Member IEEE, Senior Member IEEE Systems Man and Cybernetics Society, Life Member of ISTE, CSI, ICS, and Member ACM. Dr. Maity's technical skills include research scientist, image processing, web, and senior software engineer. With 19.87 years of relevant experience, he is a well-rounded professional who has made significant contributions to the field of computer science and engineering.
