Prosenjit Biswas is a highly experienced Data Scientist with over 7 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. He has a strong background in planning and building recommendation systems and content classification engines for a telecom giant, as well as applying neural networks on TBs of data on a Hadoop cluster with the help of Spark programs written in Scala. Prosenjit has also used regression algorithms for statistical analysis and predictions for the response times from IIS logs and server usage percentages using time series forecasting. In his current role as a Research Scientist at Sony, Prosenjit is responsible for architecting the system for the recommendation engine with AWS and Python scripts. He is also involved in automating data ingestion from heterogeneous sources, data cleansing, processing, model building, model evaluations, and working alongside infrastructure teams to put the system into production.
