Pruthvi Navada is a highly motivated professional with a passion for Machine Learning, Software Design, and Development. With over 2 years of experience in the industry, he has a proven track record of delivering innovative and effective solutions. Currently working as an Engineer II in the Cloud Engineering team at American Express, Pruthvi has been involved in the design and development of several automation tools for enhanced developer experience. His projects include DBaaS Orchestrator and Migration Orchestrator, which helped improve database provisioning time by 200x and automate the application eligibility determination for migration from private to public clouds respectively. Pruthvi has been exposed to a wide range of technologies such as Spring Boot, Flask, Celery, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes. He is adept in both Java and Python. He is a strong leader, having led all the discussions, starting from requirements gathering to demos, managing multiple stakeholders onshore and offshore. His professional achievements include receiving 13 Blue Awards at American Express, being recognized twice as the Best Performer by the Vice President of Cloud Solutions Engineering, and garnering appreciation from various senior leaders including Asia-Pacific Technology Head. Pruthvi began his professional journey at American Express as an intern in the Cloud Engineering team, where he worked on features for a chatbot designed to address Enterprise Cloud FAQs. During his internship, he developed CRUD APIs for managing the bot response data and implemented a job to send periodic roster notifications on slack. He also explored and carried out POCs on devops tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Pruthvi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from Ramaiah Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University, with an expected graduation date of May 2023. Pruthvi is seeking ML/SDE internship/co-op opportunities starting Spring 2024 and is open to relevant opportunities.
