Puja Bhattacharya is a seasoned Sr. SDET at Bounce with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. She is proficient in a variety of programming languages, web development frameworks, virtualization tools, CI & versioning tools, and test frameworks/tools. Her expertise includes Pact, Protractor, Jasmine, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured, Lighthouse, Jmeter, and various types of testing including unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, load testing, and performance testing. Puja is highly proficient in using several IDEs, test execution, and bug reporting tools such as IntelliJ, PyCharm, TestRail, TestLink, and JIRA. She is also well-versed in using other tools such as Postman, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Gitlab. Puja has a strong grasp of agile and Kanban methodologies and is known for her ability to learn quickly, her attention to detail, and her organizational skills. Puja's experience includes test strategy and planning, product feature strategy, interviewing, mentoring, and research. She has worked with companies such as Springboard and SAP in the past, where she was responsible for handling quality assurance efforts for a Human Capital Management (HCM) software. Her role involved coming up with manual testing strategies, writing down test cases, contributing to features of existing test automation frameworks, automating manual test cases using the existing framework, making stakeholders aware of the product's health and issues, and coordinating among business owners and developers to help shape up the software as per the requirement. Puja holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from BKEC, VTU. She also attended Mount Carmel School in Patna.
