Puneet Singh is a highly skilled software developer with a passion for solving complex problems and building quality software products. With over 3 years of relevant experience, Puneet has worked with some of the leading technology companies, including Jio and Samsung, and is currently working as an SDE 2 at Alteryx. Puneet's expertise lies in developing scalable and efficient software systems using a variety of technologies such as Azure, NoSQL, ETL, Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, and Big Data. He has also worked extensively with neural networks, Kafka, MongoDB, Cassandra, and NLP. Puneet is proficient in several programming languages, including Python, Ruby, Golang, and test. At Jio, Puneet played a crucial role in building a scalable event-driven data pipeline using a publisher-subscriber model with Kafka event queue system to ingest structured and unstructured user health data in NoSQL databases. He also designed and built an error handling system for the event-driven platform with the capability to reprocess failed events. Puneet created a read service in Golang for users' health data stored in NoSQL databases using goroutines to optimize performance. Additionally, he developed a logging pipeline that collects logs from all services and sends it to ELK stack using Filebeat to accept structured logs and parse it. Puneet's experience at Samsung involved working on inference and hardware acceleration of pre-trained neural network models on CPU, GPU, and hardware accelerators of android devices using NNAPI (Neural Network API) on an Android Q test device. Puneet has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
