Purav Nagda is a skilled Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase & Co. with a passion for creating responsive and user-friendly applications. With nearly 5 years of relevant experience, Purav is an expert in full-stack web development, data analysis, problem-solving, and algorithms. He possesses excellent people skills, is a quick learner, hard-working, and agile. Currently, Purav is working at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Software Engineer where he is responsible for developing RESTful APIs that communicate with external applications for creating and modifying terminal orders. He is also working on PoCs to adopt newer technologies and frameworks and has E2E ownership of data migration from on-premise database to Cloud. Purav has written 75% automation scripts for load and performance testing of new Cloud Infrastructure using JMeter. He has also developed a POC for the shopping cart module for an upcoming e-commerce website using React and Redux. Prior to his current role, Purav worked as an Associate Consultant at Capgemini where he worked with Product Owners and users to clarify user stories, estimate tasks, and deliver quality code within the committed iteration. He also analyzed, evaluated, and proposed solutions to complex architectural challenges for developing and introducing new features. Purav started his career as a Project Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he shared a space with IIT-B PhD researchers and gained his initial experience in developing an analysis tool to be used by IITBombayX instructors. The tool successfully achieved its objective of providing concise and valuable insights of discussion forum, helping the instructors to enhance/modify the course for the next iteration. Purav holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College. He also holds an H.S.C degree in Information Technology from Shri T P Bhatia College of Science and an S.S.C degree in Secondary Education from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Vidyalaya.
