Purav Parmar is a 5x Salesforce Certified Application Architect with a passion for technology and innovation. With 4 years of experience designing customer-centric solutions at Salesforce, Deloitte, and Capgemini, Purav is a product aficionado and tinkerer who believes that well-delivered technology renders a new culture. He is currently pursuing his MS MIS'22 at the University at Buffalo and is actively looking for a full-time role starting June'22. Purav is a Salesforce Product/Delivery Manager - TA at the University at Buffalo School of Management. In this role, he spearheads the Salesforce NPSP implementations for a local Buffalo-based not-for-profit, designing and improving their database management systems to increase overall productivity for fundraising and volunteering activities by 89%. He has facilitated user and functional requirements, performed requirements gathering, captured customer issues, developed clearly defined metrics, streamlined documentation, and bolstered project deliverables. He has also led an 8-member team to drive project meetings, managed project plans, monitored and reviewed program progress and timelines, and identified and resolved issues/risks. Prior to his current role, Purav worked as an Associate Product Manager - Fellowship at Ceres Tag. Here, he performed market research for the zero-to-one product, designed the roadmap, UI/UX, and user journey for the world's first livestock monitoring information platform in association with CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization). He analyzed and documented the requirements, drafted user stories, and worked on Figma and Fig Jam to design solutions. Additionally, he measured KPIs, tracked progress, and improved cross-functional program execution by continuous improvement. Purav also worked as a Student Ambassador at the University at Buffalo, where he bolstered the growth of potential applicants, contributed to marketing, participated in professional development, and mentored students looking for leadership and experiential learning opportunities. Purav's education history includes a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University at Buffalo, expected to be completed in December 2022. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College. Purav has a strong tech stack, including Salesforce, product manager, senior software engineer, research scientist, and UI.
