Puru Gupta is a Co-Founder and CEO at True Elements, a health and wellness startup that aims to change people's habits. With over 20 years of experience in various industries and capacities, Puru has a diverse background that has helped him develop a unique perspective on business and marketing. Puru's experience includes managing the national business of Gillette as a National Category Manager, selling shampoos in Delhi and East UP as a Key Account Manager, developing IT architecture for clients in Hawaii, and developing programs for credit card processors in Europe. He has also traveled to Rural Maharashtra and China to understand rural retail and the market, respectively. Puru loves taking up challenges and has a passion for turning around bleeding businesses, launching new categories in competitive markets, building markets for new brands, and building ventures from scratch. He has also assisted companies in marketing, specifically retail, foods, and FMCG companies, and has worked with a few health and wellness companies before venturing out on his own. Apart from his professional pursuits, Puru has a passion for teaching, photography, and writing. He describes himself as a 'Marketer' by heart and a dreamer by design, with a love for taking on challenges and turning them into opportunities. Puru holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and a B.E. from Army Institute of Technology, Pune University. He also attended Army Public School for his primary and secondary education.
