Purushotam Kumar is an experienced software engineer with a passion for building robust products with a focus on learning. He is currently working as an App Engineer at Refyne India, where he is responsible for developing mobile applications using Flutter, Android, Java, and Kotlin. In addition to this, Purushotam has a diverse skill set that includes AWS, Typescript, and MongoDB. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Purushotam has a rich history of development in the product-based industry. He has worked with several companies, including Shubh Loans, where he served as a Full Stack Developer. During his tenure, Purushotam was responsible for architecting, designing, testing, and maintaining an Android app with over 4 million downloads. He also implemented the MVVM Jetpack architecture in the app from scratch and created a KYC system using Aadhaar Card by automating the process available on UIDAI. Purushotam worked on maintaining the infrastructure and scalability of the Java-based server to efficiently handle traffic. He also created a system to send the memory usage of a Spring-based server for every minute to Cloudwatch metrics and upload the zip file of lambda to AWS S3 and deploy it automatically using Docker, AWS Fargate, and ECS. Purushotam was also a co-founder of Dhobi Cart, a startup dedicated to providing door-to-door laundry services using an Android app. He was responsible for developing the Android app from scratch for order management, deploying and maintaining the app on the play store, developing the backend system for interaction with the Android app, and deploying and maintaining the backend system on AWS. Purushotam holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University Institute of Technology, the University of Burdwan.
