Pushpendra Chavan is an experienced technical support engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field. He specializes in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and other Linux-based distributions along with Kubernetes. He is a highly motivated and innovative individual who believes in collaborative work. Pushpendra is an active member of the Fedora Open Source Community and is a Red Hat Certified Engineer. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge with university and college students on Open Source and Red Hat. Pushpendra possesses a range of technical skills, including system and network administration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4/5/6/7, CentOS, and OEL. He is an expert in unattended deployments through PXE and Kickstart files and building rpm packages using specification files. He also has shells related skill sets, including automation of jobs, scripting, modifications, and performance tuning. Pushpendra is very well versed with updates and Satellite Server, the central system update server based on the Spacewalk Project. He has a good understanding of file systems, files, and system structure and knowledge of securities, including firewalls, TCP wrappers, and SELinux. Pushpendra has hands-on experience on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes Clusters. Currently, Pushpendra is working as an OpenShift CoC Principal Technical Support Engineer at Red Hat. He is dedicated to IBM CoC (Centre of Competency) and is responsible for assisting IBM and IBM customers who are on IBM CloudPak platform. Pushpendra leads the team in India and Singapore to maintain a smooth and seamless experience for IBM and IBM CloudPak customers with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform issues. He fixes any issues related to OCP Platform and escalates the same to Red Hat in case of Engineering or SME involvement is necessary. Pushpendra also assists the team CoC to identify the gaps in the whole process and proposes solutions to mitigate the problems. Pushpendra has worked with Red Hat in the past as an OpenShift Principal Technical Support Engineer and a Principal Technical Support Engineer. He has led teams and assisted in resolving technical issues faced by customers on OpenShift Container Platform 3.x and 4.x. Pushpendra has mentored new hires and interns to make them productive for the organization and product ready.
