Qasim Maqbool is a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer at Datatonic, a Google Cloud’s Machine Learning Partner of the Year 2022. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Qasim is an expert in building complex data pipelines and microservices. He has hands-on software development experience with highly scalable data-intensive systems mainly built using Java, Scala, Python & Go. Qasim has previously worked as a Senior Data Engineer at MySense.ai, a wellbeing analytics platform for the home. He was responsible for building and maintaining the data platform, and ensuring that the platform was production-ready for on-premises deployments. Prior to that, he worked as a Platform Engineer at InTech Industrial Intelligence Solutions, where he developed an industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) platform tailored for the manufacturing and process industries. Qasim holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Lahore University of Management Sciences, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Science and Technology, and A Levels in Physical Sciences from St. Mary's Academy. Qasim's tech stack includes Data Engineering, ML, AI, Microservices, Software Engineer, Python, Scala, Java, and Backend. He has a strong passion for building and scaling data-intensive systems, and is always looking for new challenges to solve.
