Qi Li is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer at Coinbase, a leading cryptocurrency exchange platform. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Qi is an expert in software engineering, web3, and research science. He is passionate about solving complex problems that have real-world impact. Before joining Coinbase, Qi worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Forward Networks, Inc. where he helped build an innovative software platform that provides visibility, policy verification, and change modeling for large-scale networks. Prior to that, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hewlett Packard Labs where he conducted an architectural study of high radix photonically-connected switches for high-performance computing. Qi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, where he also earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering.
