Qing Shi is a seasoned full-stack engineer with over 8 years of experience in building enterprise cloud applications. She is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, where she is responsible for Promotional Artwork Engineering. Qing has a diverse skill set that includes software engineering, Salesforce, integration, Kubernetes, data science, research, Spring Boot, Jenkins, microservices, and UI/UX design. Prior to joining Netflix, Qing worked as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce, where she designed and implemented a next-generation marketing content WYSIWYG builder. She also worked on a server-side rendering microservice to generate HTML from marketing content layout metadata, and implemented the engagement history feature as part of the B2B marketing integration project. Qing was also instrumental in making Salesforce CRM intelligent by working with data scientist teams to populate users' pipelines with relevant industry and business news. Before Salesforce, Qing worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Cisco, where she worked in the identity group of WebEx. She designed an independent verification UI for customers to do verification more easily and efficiently, including implementing verification, viewing log, generating reports, and making comparisons. Qing holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Automation from Beijing Institute of Technology. In addition to her professional work, she maintains a personal website and GitHub account where she shares her knowledge and expertise with the broader community.
