Radhakrishna Kamath is an experienced Engineer currently working at Qualcomm Hyderabad. With a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, he is proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, C, and Python. His strong operations background is backed by an MS (by research) degree focused on Computer Networks from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. In his current role at Qualcomm, Radhakrishna is responsible for building 5G Core Network functions like Unified Data Management (UDM) and Unified Data Repository (UDR) for the Indigenous 5G Testbed project by the Department of Telecom, Govt. of India. He has integrated Redis Database with 5G Core for storing Subscription Data and Policy Data. He is also building encrypting (concealment) and decrypting (deconcealment) modules for securing User Identity in 5G Core. Radhakrishna is also building a subscribe-notify mechanism for the 5G Network Functions (UDM and UDR) for notifying changes in the Data to other Network Functions. He is currently working on understanding the Network Slicing (NS) concept and building a network function (Network Slice Selection Function) for selecting slices. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Radhakrishna worked as a Software Developer at Immerz, where he was part of a team that developed an Augmented Reality game called Immerz in the Unity game engine. The game was designed to teach mathematics to school kids. Radhakrishna's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an MS (by research) in Computer Networks from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. His technical skillset includes Research Scientist, Python, Java, Redis, and Software Engineering. With 2.87 years of relevant experience, Radhakrishna is a highly skilled and motivated professional who is always eager to learn and take on new challenges.
