Radhakrishna Karumanchi is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of work experience. He has worked with distinctive organizations for long stints, including Trilogy, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Udhyam. Radhakrishna has significant experience in diverse roles, including software engineering, tech management, analytics, HR, non-profits, entrepreneurship, and intra-preneurship. He has built multiple teams of passionate professionals from strong and varied backgrounds, including engineers, MBA, HR, and impact space. Radhakrishna is entrepreneurial, having been involved in a couple of endeavors, albeit unsuccessful. He has worked in startups and in early stages of now large organizations, as well as large organizations. Currently, he is leading Udhyam Vyapaar as part of the Udhyam Learning Foundation, a non-profit startup with a large ambition to make the nation entrepreneurial. He joined to pursue the vision of helping nano entrepreneurs (‘Vyapaari’s) to scale and succeed. He started and led Udyam Vyapaar to pursue this vision and hired and grew a diverse team of professionals who operated with high autonomy. Radhakrishna has significant growth as a people leader in order to bring together result-orientation of a start-up and values-based talent force working in the impact space. He has made a significant contribution to Udhyam beyond Vyapaar, including hiring and setting up a robust performance management process. Radhakrishna has also served as an advisor to program design and management at Udhyam Learning Foundation and as an advisor to the CEO of Whatsloan. Radhakrishna holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IIT Madras. He has a diverse tech stack that includes mobile, SQL, P2P, web, big data, Javascript, data scientist, iOS, integration, Java, Android, and Ember.js. Radhakrishna has 17.54 years of relevant experience and has worked through the ‘Valley of Death’ where none of his hypotheses and interventions were working or were working at a very low efficacy. He used on-the-ground learnings to create other offerings that worked at higher scale entrepreneurial mindset interventions in groups, low-cost feet on the ground for lower cost one-on-one interactions, focus on business lines, and focus on product interventions. Udhyam Vyapaar reached approximately 2000 entrepreneurs and helped 1000 entrepreneurs create income uplift.
