Radhesh Sarma is a talented web developer and competitive programmer who is set to begin an internship at Microsoft. Radhesh's current role is with Microsoft Engage 2020, where he worked on a Mars rover web game. He developed the game using various path-finding algorithms such as A*, Dijkstra, Depth First Search, Breadth First Search, Best First Search, and their bi-directional forms to ensure the AI rover navigates Mars in the shortest possible path. He also applied the Travelling Salesmen algorithm and made the AI agent render multiple destinations in the shortest path while avoiding obstacles. Additionally, Radhesh added several features to the game, including obstacles, rendering of the shortest path, randomized start mazes, a game tutorial, and an info tab for the algorithms. He used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop the game. Prior to his current role, Radhesh worked as an Information Technology Summer Intern at the Indian Red Cross Society. There, he created a mass communication app for desktop PCs that could send emails and SMS texts to a bulk of staff, student trainees, or volunteers. He gained skills in Python during his time with the organization. Radhesh holds a B.E (Hons) in Computer Science and an MSc in Mathematics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he is currently enrolled. He is set to graduate in 2022. Radhesh's technical skills include Web development, Search, AI, Java, and Python. With almost three years of experience in the field, he has developed a strong understanding of these technologies and their applications.
