Radhika Gupta is a sophomore at BITS Pilani pursuing a B.E. in Computer Science and an MSc. in Mathematics. She describes herself as empathetic, hardworking, and focused, with a strong passion for bringing about positive change. Radhika's interest in the intersection of technology and healthcare was sparked during a course where she created mathematical models for epidemiology. This led her to intern at CEERI, where she observed a project that used facial feature mapping to detect symptoms of drowsiness in drivers, with the aim of preventing road accidents. These experiences solidified her desire to solve big problems using technology. Currently, Radhika is a summer intern at CSIR, where she has implemented three state-of-the-art classification models for fine-grained texture recognition, including DeepTEN, Deep Residual Pooling Networks, and Bilinear CNN. She compared their accuracy and verified the results of their respective research papers. Her past experiences include working as a member of the Department of Controls at BOSM and as an application developer for the ACM Association for Computing Machinery. Radhika's education history includes pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Mathematics and Computer Science at BITS Pilani, with an expected graduation date of 2025. Her tech stack includes experience as a research scientist and with CNN. With 0.27 years of relevant experience, Radhika is eager to interact with like-minded individuals who share her passion for making a positive impact.
