She also reduced the time taken for new region expansion by 25% by automating resource creation, which involved writing an end-to-end resource creation script that would create all AWS resources required for the new region with minimum manual changes. Rafica also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at eBay, where she helped build a next-generation tool that provides creating and modifying datasources as a service, reducing the DBA’s manual efforts as part of the Global Database Infrastructure Engineering team.
