Ragav Maddali is an experienced Lead Engineer at Target Corporation with a demonstrated history of working in the hospitality and retail industry. He has over 7 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-native applications using asynchronous and reactive frameworks. Ragav is also experienced in adopting open-source technologies to solve complex problems and has built reusable assets such as reusable ODI mapping and frameworks that have helped improve developer productivity. As a team player, Ragav has provided leadership while also learning from fellow team members. He has groomed two campus recruits to adapt to the software industry and has worked closely with the security and performance team to ensure software standards are met. Ragav has also engaged in the architectural design phase of projects and built POCs as required. In his current role as Lead Engineer at Target, Ragav has been responsible for developing a data processing platform using multiple open-source tools, developing APIs to deploy workloads, and publishing job and application metrics for monitoring. Additionally, he has worked on exposing GraphQL endpoints that aggregate data from REST APIs and databases, while also developing a generic framework for all teams to consume. Ragav has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering, where he graduated in 2016. He has also ensured coding and security standards are met by following the code review process and has developed products with GDPR compliance.
