Raghav Vaidyanathan Subbaraman is a PhD student at UC San Diego, where he is working with the Wireless Communications, Sensing, and Networking Group (WCSNG). With nearly four years of relevant experience, Raghav is an expert in wireless communication hardware and protocols, having developed software and verilog for communication systems in both research and production settings. Raghav's greatest strength lies in his ability to build and evaluate end-to-end systems. He is highly skilled in system design and has a deep understanding of the underlying technologies that make communication systems work. As a visiting scholar at UC San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering, Raghav worked on the SweepSense project, which involved sensing 5 GHz in 5 milliseconds with low-cost radios. The project was presented at the Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation (NSDI) in 2019. Prior to his graduate studies, Raghav worked as a Project Associate for the 5G Testbed Project. In this role, he gained valuable experience working on a real-world project and honed his skills in research and development. Raghav holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras and is currently pursuing a PhD in ECE from UC San Diego. He is a highly motivated and talented researcher with a strong track record of success in his field.
